Events

Rallies

Rallies are generally held every second Saturday at Drumcoura Equestrian Centre between 16.00 and 18.00. Participants should arrive at 15.30 in order to tack up.

Upcoming rally dates are:

19th and 26th June. The 26th June meeting will be at Foy's and is to give members practice on grass.

3rd and 10th July. The 10th July meeting will be at Foy's and is practice for the Area Qualifiers on 16/17 July.

14th August.

There will be a beach ride on Sunday 22nd August in Sligo. The specific venue is to be confirmed.

11th and 25th September.

It is proposed to hold the D and D+ tests on Saturday 18th September for those eligible. This date is to be confirmed.

9th and 23rd October. The 23rd is the Halloween Rally.

6th and 20th November.

9th and 23rd October. The 23rd is the Halloween Rally.

4th December Christmas Rally.

11th December Parent's Dinner in Smyth's, Ballinamore.

Leitrim Pony Club Summer Camp

This will be held at Necarne Castle Equestrian Centre, Irvingstown, Co Fermanagh on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th July 2010. All members are invited to attend.

The Pony Club senior camp will be held on the 17th to 10th August, also at Necarne Castle Equestrian Centre.

Area Qualifiers

The Area Qualifiers will be held on Friday 16th July (pure dressage and combined training) and Saturday 17th July (jumping) in Corbeagh House.

Competitions

17th July. The Robbie Bailey team competition will be held at Corbeagh House.

18th July. Glaslough Horse Trials (closing date 12 July).

25th July. Corbeagh House Horse Trails (closing date 16 July).

1st August. Hunter Chase and clear round jumping - Cloone (non pony club event).

5th September. Carlow Hunt Branch novice and under 12 One Day Event.

26th September. Curragh Pony Club Race Day.

16th October. Friendly competition with other Pony Club branches. Details to be confirmed.
